Residence B&B La Fontaine Aparthotel - Krakow

My recent stay at the Fontaine in Krakow was good. The cozy room featured a kitchenette, perfect for preparing snacks after a long day exploring the fine main square. The vibrant Christmas market nearby added a festive charm, enhancing my experience despite the many stairs one must climb for access.

The location is awesome, 1 km from Galeria Krakowska. It's near to the main square as well as Cracow square market.

Clean hotel, magnificent location in the heart of the city, amazing breakfast. Decent staff throughout.

Consider requesting a room on a lower floor if you prefer quieter nights, as street noise can be noticeable.

I had a real good stay in a long time. The staff was decent, the room was heated, everything was really good. Kitchen was great and had a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a fridge. I enjoyed that the food for breakfast was brilliant. The location was magnificent, within easy walking distance of a historic museum👌

Incredibly friendly staff who were always available to assist us. The air conditioning worked wonderfully, our comfort . Breakfast options were diverse and tasty each morning.

It's a very small room.

That was great and lovely hotel set in nice area, close to town square and the market and the main sights and tours. The staff was excellent, extremely friendly, and everything was very good. The room itself was good value for money where the alarm went off and had the things we needed.

We had a blast exploring Krakow and even took a fun day trip to the Salt Mine! The apartment was spacious enough for our family and two dogs. Plus, the vibrant atmosphere outside our door was just amazing.

My kids wished for a real play area for downtime.

I spent three nights at the Fontaine in Krakow. Location was amazing, right on the main square-the heart of the city. I loved being able to step outside and have cafes, shops, and sights right at my doorstep. My room had decent size and came equipped with a kettle, fridge, and microwave, easy for snacks. The air conditioning worked well. The decor in my room felt a bit outdated, needing some attention. I found multiple grey hairs in my bed, off-putting. The shower drain was blocked on occasion, leading to quite a mess. Although the staff were friendly and addressed my needs, I found myself without any help during the after-hours when issues arose. Despite these inconveniences, I felt safe and enjoyed my time due to the vibrant location and the helpfulness of the reception staff.

The historical charm of the building stands out, with slanted ceilings and exposed beams adding a nice touch to the quaint room. A huge bathroom with a deep soaking tub offers a relaxing experience after a long day of exploring.

The dining area is a mixed bag. While it's convenient, the lack of replenished tea and coffee supplies was a letdown. Noise from the street can seep in despite double-glazing was nice.
